Our Story

We are passionate about helping people discover and pursue their purpose at work.

We created Purpose Path in 2016 to help mission-driven professionals clarify and align their values, interests, priorities, and strengths with a more fulfilling career.

As executive search consultants, we have gained valuable insights from our interviews with thousands of candidates about what it means to be purpose-driven and how to navigate a successful career transition.

Our main offering is the Purpose Path Signature Program, which includes a mix of live online classes, on-demand content, and individual and peer coaching. Our robust curriculum incorporates exercises, templates, and practical advice to help you assess your experience and strengths, develop a compelling personal brand, manage an effective job search and network strategy, prepare for interviews, negotiate job offers, and onboard successfully.

Purpose Path is different than other career coaching programs because of our peer-based model for coaching and accountability which enhances your learning, broadens your network, and helps you achieve your goals.

KATIE MCNERNEY
President, Purpose Path

“I believe each of us is here for a purpose. We are all essential and have an important role to play in our families, in our friendships, in our communities, and at work.

I’ve discovered that my purpose is to help others find and pursue theirs.

I’ve worn many hats and navigated my own career as a team leader, nonprofit executive, entrepreneur, and executive recruiter. It is a privilege to walk alongside individuals during critical inflection points in their careers, sharing what I’ve learned through my own diverse career in Fortune 500 companies, nonprofits, and the philanthropic sector.”
